David Priest, MD - Medical Director, 3T MRI Menlo Atherton
Dr. David R. Priest obtained his undergraduate degree
at Harvard University, and his medical degree at the University
of Minnesota Medical School. He served as Chief Resident during
his radiology residency at Beth Israel Deacones Medical Center
at Harvard Medical School. He then completed a fellowship in
Neuroradiology at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Priest is certified by the United States Medical Licensing
Examiners and the American Board of Radiology. He received a
Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology and specializes
in Adult and Pediatric Neuroradiology, as well as head, neck
and ophthalmologic imaging. Dr. Priest is a Senior Member of
the American Society of Neuroradiology and serves as an Assistant
Clinical Professor of Neuroradiology at the University of California
San Francisco. Dr. Priest lives in San Francisco, California
and enjoys travel, having visited over 60 countries.
Douglas R Bourgon, MD - Medical Director, Bay Area MRI
Dr. Bourgon is a native of the Detroit area and received his medical doctorate with honors at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency with the University of Arizona. Dr. Bourgon is fellowship training in cross-sectional and MRI imaging. He is subspecialized in musculoskeletal and sports MRI though is additionally proficient in neurological and body MRI imaging. Dr. Bourgon’s fellowship was performed with the University of California, San Francisco. He has been practicing in the Bay Area since completion of training, covering multiple community hospitals and imaging centers. During residency Dr Bourgon served as the state of Arizona representative to the American College of Radiology and has published on the evaluation of ectopic pregnancy and the MRI manifestations of intracerebral coccidioidomycosis. He is certified by the United States Medical Licensing Examiners and the American Board of Radiology, and is a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Outside of the office he enjoys training as an amateur triathlete, and serves on the board of directors for the San Francisco Triathlon Club.
Daniel
Lentz, MD
Dr. Daniel Lentz has been practicing in the Bay Area for over
a decade specializing in brain, spine and musculoskeletal MRI,
as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He graduated
from Harvard Medical School, completed his internship in Internal
Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and his Radiology training
at Stanford, sub-specializing in both Neuroradiology and Vascular
and Interventional Radiology. He is board certified in Diagnostic
Radiology and has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualification
in Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Sonja M.C. Moelleken, MD - Medical Director, San Francisco
Advanced Medical Imaging
Before joining BMC, she worked with LPMI, Bay Area Radiologists,
and served as reading radiologist for St. Mary's Medical Center
and St. Francis Memorial Hospital. During this time, she was also
medical director for other outpatient facilities, performing PET,
CT and MRI (both high field and open) exams. She has served as
a radiologist at various other centers throughout California including
those in Santa Barbara, Beverly Hills and Stockton. Since 2001,
Dr. Moelleken has been an assistant clinical professor at the
University of California, San Francisco Department of Radiology.Moelleken
graduated with honors from the State University of New York, College
at Albany (SUNYA) with a double major in pre-medicine and German
literature. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University School
of Medicine, 1992. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine
at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and a radiology residency
at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was
chief resident. Dr. Moelleken then went on to complete a fellowship
at the University of California, San Francisco in Musculoskeletal
MRI. Dr. Moelleken’s special interests are in sports medicine
MRI and musculoskeletal MRI. She is proficient in neurological
MRI, body MRI and MR angiography as well as CT, and is certified
in cardiovascular CTA. She is widely published in paleontology
as well as radiology literature having appeared in dozens of publications
and abstracts and delivered a series of related presentations.
She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)
and the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS).
Dr. Thomas L. Huang
Dr. Thomas L. Huang obtained his medical degree and completed radiology residency at the Boston University School of medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard Medical School. During fellowship, he investigated high resolution MR imaging of the wrist at 3Tesla, cervical spine MRI, concurrent FDG PET/CT guided and confirmed bone biopsy techniques, and cartilage MRI. Additionally, he has given lectures on ankle and elbow MRI. Aside from Musculoskeletal imaging, his clinical interests include body MR/CT and Neuroradiology including head and neck imaging. Dr. Huang is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
